‘Children move through the nursery on a journey of experience and learning, which is age appropriate and based on individual needs’
Circus Day Nursery established in 1997 has over the years achieved numerous awards recognising its hard work and efforts in making a positive difference. Management and staff have lots of academic and practical knowledge relative to ’child development’ and focus on building self-esteem, and confidence in young children. This has been proven to be conducive to effective learning taking place. Situated in a beautiful tree-lined road in the prestigious Pittville area of Cheltenham, children are cared for in a beautiful period house, listed as a building of interest, which dates back to late 1800’s. The rooms are large, colourful and stimulating. The nursery has a wonderful garden, equipped with an all weather surface, protected canopy for extreme weather conditions, outside classroom, nature section housing hens and rabbits, and general play area to promote gross motor skills. Circus has it’s own Forest School, and qualified Forest School Leader. Children are encouraged to spend lots of time outdoors in the fresh air, where they can explore and learn in a safe enclosed open space.
