‘Our Circus Holiday Club is open to children aged 4 to 8 years, during Summer, Christmas and Easter and is held at Berkhampstead School, which is located on the corner of Pittville Circus Road/Hewlett Road’

The aim of Circus Holiday Club is for children to have lots of fun and form friendships, whilst doing lots of stimulating activities together. Holiday Club is very child orientated, and children are involved in the planning of actiives, and making choices.  There is opportunity for children to get involved in drama,  singing and acting out stories. They play lots of games,  play musical instruments and enjoy time to be creative.  Every day is different at Holiday Club. Once children arrive,  everyone is introduced during snack time at 9:30 to discuss the day’s events before the fun starts.  Lunch can be taken outside, under the shade of the trees, and  if the weather is not too good, we use the dining hall, inside. Acitivities range from free drawing, badge making, card making, junk modeling, play dough and gloop! Children have access to the library and quiet area.  where they can just relax, watch a movie of their choice, or read books. We feel that it is very important for children to have a place where they can relax and take time out of the day, to recharge their batteries. Outdoor play We have a large secure grass covered garden to enjoy the benefits of outdoor play  The garden cannot be seen from the main road and does have a shaded area for those very hot, sunny days. We offer activities such football, cricket, dodge ball and many other games. Children are given lots of choices. Whatever the season, childen will be encouraged to enjoy time outdoors in the fresh air. Daily feedback sheets are on display reflecitng the actiivities children  have enjoyed.  Parents enjoy this feedback. We encourage external visitors to the club to give demonstrations and educational talks to the children, such as marital arts, first aid training, Zoolab. We also take children (with parental permission) on local visits such as the cinema, pizza hut (to experience making pizza), paint it yourself pottery, cheltenham football ground,  the local museum and trips to the local parks. Our programme of activity changes daily, and with our established team of highly qualified and well trained staff, we are fully confident that your child will always have a time to remember.
