A Personal Letter from Our Founder Sue

Our daily focus is on building self-esteem and confidence

Hello,

I started Circus Day Nursery following the birth of my beautiful baby girl who I wanted to be able to see grow up, whilst fulfilling my own passion and career dreams to work with children and Early Learning.

It is hard to believe that this year the Circus Family and I will celebrate 25 years of nurturing and caring for precious little ones at our award-winning Nursery in Cheltenham.

As a mother, I knew the fundamental necessity to provide solid, unquestionable trust and confidence in our staff, in our setting and in our childcare. I wanted to make a positive and inspiring difference to the lives of our children in Gloucestershire.

And so I found the perfect home for Circus Day Nursery and Pre School… A beautiful period house in leafy Pitville, near the park. It has very large, light rooms and a huge one-acre enclosed garden. This magnificent space provides the ability for our individual children to grow both by age appropriate learning on the various floors, whilst also allowing quality time and full social integration with all age groups. And the vast protected garden means the children can spend lots of time outdoors, exploring and playing in the fresh air!

I think every parent would agree that the most critically important element of childcare is the loving carers themselves. I am deeply proud of every carefully selected member of the Circus Family. Each and every one is motivated, committed and passionate about our children’s wellbeing and has the relevant academic and practical knowledge for their unique development. It is for this reason that I am dedicated to constantly expanding our knowledge and understanding in the childcare field, with training as one of the most critical and ongoing investment we make.

Our daily focus is on building self-esteem and confidence – the proven and most effective factors for learning.
As a child-lead environment, we listen to children and actively involve them in the decision-making process at their nursery. We also encourage feedback from parents through our “open door policy” as to how we can continually improve our service.

These little people are the centre and future of our worlds and we must ensure they have the best possible start in Life. I have dedicated my Life to this and would love to invite you to see what we have created here at Circus.

We would love to give you a personal tour of Circus Nursery, so if you would like to come and visit, please click HERE and in the meantime, perhaps read what other parents have to say about us HERE.

I would be delighted to chat to you personally, if there’s anything in particular you’d like to explore, so do drop me a line on my personal email below.

With warmest wishes,
Sue Wilson
